1-Ethynyl-1-cyclohexanol (ECH) is an acetylenic alcohol with different application fields, such as life science, silicones, plastics, polymers and fibers.

The melting temperature of 1-Ethynyl-1-cyclohexanol (ECH) is at 28°C, the boiling temperature (1013 hPa) at 179,75°C.

Used as a catalyst inhibitor (platinum) in silicone formulations e.g. silicone release coatings (solvent less type – thermal curing) and in silicone molding
