Reactive diluent in UV cured adhesives.

Coatings and Inks

Vinylimidazole can be used both as a reactive diluent in UV cured coatings, as well as a comonomer in acrylic copolymers. The imidazole functionality is utilised in pigment dispersants, enhancing the dispersion of organic pigments in solvent based or UV curable formulation.

Other

As a comonomer vinylimidazole is used in oilfield and cosmetic polymers.
