General

N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2-pyrrolidone (HEP) can be used as co-solvent for agro, coating and inkjet formulations as well as a solvent for electronics processing. The hydroxyl functionality of HEP can be used to further functionalize the product or to build the pyrrolidone functionality into various polymers.
