"Coatings Triethylamine (TEA) is used as a neutralization agent for anionic stabilized waterborne resins (polyesters, alkyds, acrylic resins and polyurethanes containing carboxyl or other acidic groups).  It is also utilized as a catalyst in the curing of epoxy and polyurethane systems. This mass balanced product comes with a 100% substitution of fossil with renewable raw materials in the value chain. Using a Biomass Balance product (BMB) contributes to preserve fossil resources and enables the shift to a circular economy. The product provides the same quality, performance and properties as the conventional equivalent (so-called drop-in solution) and helps to reduce the product carbon footprint.
