"Trimethylamine pure BMBcert I is mainly used as a building block for crop protection, in the synthesis of ion exchange resins and for bactericides. Among the many other applications of trimethylamine are the production of various quaternary ammonium compounds, such as positively charged starch and disinfectants, catalysts and flotation agents. This mass balanced product comes with a 100% substitution of fossil with renewable raw materials in the value chain. Using a Biomass Balance product (BMB) contributes to preserve fossil resources and enables the shift to a circular economy.
