Butylamine
Butylamine belongs to the class of monoalkylamines. Butylamine is produced from Butanol. It is a versatile intermediate with a variety of applications. Butylamine is used to produce agricultural chemicals (e.g. benomyl), rubber chemicals (e.g. di-n-butylthiourea), nylon plasticers (e.g. n-butylbenzenesulphonamide), alkyl alkanol amines (Butyldiethanolamine) as well as fuel and oil additives.
