The biggest outlet for Ethylamine is for the production of agricultural chemicals (e.g. Atrazine). MEA is also used to produce mining chemicals, flotation agents (e.g. isopropylethyl thiocarbamates) and in the production of polyurethane as a chain stopper to control the degree of polymerization.
