NMP LS as an aprotic, highly polar organic solvent with reduced content of free amines and a low water content is mainly used in the pharmaceutical industry (peptide synthesis) and for membrane manufacturers to provide high yields, high process efficiency and higher recycling rates than conventional grades.

NMP LS is a strong polar, aprotic, organic solvent of high purity with low amount of free amines, metal ions and water, which is completely miscible with water and dissolves many plastics, even polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and polyether sulfone (PES).
