Ethylene Oxide (EO) is a highly reactive, highly flammable, colorless, sweet-smelling gas which is a basic component for various applications. EO is mainly used for the production of ethylene glycol. But also for the production of surfactants for washing and cleaning agents, as a raw material for the production of ethanolamines, glycol ethers and polyurethanes.
