ColorFit is a solventborne topcoat system of BASF's Coatings division. It does not require a clearcoat. It stands out for its quick and easy application. 

ColorSmart is BASF’s offer for OEMs looking for an ideal high-solids solventborne basecoat solution for shorter processes. ColorSmart offers all the desired properties on a basecoat with the advantage of shorter process times through the elimination of the primer oven. The end results are higher output and lower operational cost for the OEM’s paint process. As part of BASF’s commitment to sustainability ColorSmart has reduced HAPs, lower CO₂ emission and VOC content.
