RheoFalt HP-AM
Biopolymeric natural resin for modifying bitumen
RheoFalt® HP-AM is 100% based on a directly polymerized natural resin which ensures improvement of aged bitumen with increased asphaltene content. RheoFalt® HP-AM does this by isolating the polar effect instead of reducing asphaltenes content like others.
General
RheoFalt® HP-AM ensures that aged bitumen with an increased asphaltenes content adopts a softer rheological profile again. In particular, the flexiblilty and relaxation ability at lower temperatures are improved. RheoFalt® HP-AM does not do this by reducing the content of asphaltenes, but by isolating the polar effect. This makes both aged bitumen 100% reusable, as well as the current bitumen (which contain higher asphaltene contents by cracking and hydrogenating) can be used without disturbing the colloidal equilibrium.
