The Emulphor^® grades are high-molar-mass ether sulphates that are mainly employed in the emulsion polymerisation of acrylic acid esters, methacrylic acid esters, ethylene, styrene, and vinyl esters. They can be used to produce homopolymers and copolymers. These anionic emulsifiers can also be combined with the nonionic Emulan^® grades in order to control properties such as the particle size of emulsions, or to enhance their stability. Emulphor^® FAS 30 is ether sulphate that is free of alkylphenol ethoxylates.
