How Flavenger^™ works

Flavenger™ is a quercetin that is stabilized with a caprylic acid, which is highly stable in product formulations. It is effective (In vivo) in diminishing the skin’s “orange peel” appearance ( also known as cellulite).

Flavonoids are widely used for their anti-free radical protection of hydrophilic  molecules. Their properties are linked to their chemical nature: cyclical structures that possess a large number of reactive functions which can also make them difficult to use. In order to use a flavonoid effectively in skin care products, we have patented a stabilization method for the family of flavones, flavonones, and flavonols. Our quercetin is stabilized with a caprylic acid that is highly stable in product formulations.
