The Plurafac^® LF grades are the result of many years of research and development in the field of biodegradable surfactants with excellent wetting and foam-inhibiting properties. The range contains a wide variety of surfactants that can be employed in low-foaming cleaners for household, industrial, and institutional use. These versatile products can be employed in many different branches of industry due to their excellent dispersing, emulsifying and lubricating action.

 The alkyl-terminated Plurafac^® LF grades remain stable and retain their defoaming action even when they come into contact with highly oncentrated alkali hydroxides. They are ideal for use as foam suppressants and dditives in highly alkaline cleaners. Their traditional area of application is in industrial cleaners such as bottle-washing detergents and cleaners for the food industry.
