"Coatings Delta-Valerolactone (DVL) is an organic compound lactone used as a chemical intermediate in manufacturing of coatings and dispersing agents. It is typically used as a co-monomer for polycaprolactone polymers effectively reducing the overall polymer melting point. This mass balanced product comes with a 100% substitution of fossil with renewable raw materials in the value chain. Using a Biomass Balance product (BMB) contributes to preserve fossil resources and enables the shift to a circular economy.
